Global Game jam 2026

What an incredible three days! Creative Crowd had the joy of hosting Global Game Jam at Pansalen in Skellefteå, and the energy, creativity, and collaboration in the room were truly inspiring.

Over the course of the jam, 45 participants came together to form 10 teams, sharing ideas, skills, and plenty of late-night problem solving. By the end of the event, we proudly saw 8 unique games completed - each one a testament to what can happen when passionate people create together under a shared challenge.

A special highlight was connecting directly with the Global Game Jam team, including a live conversation that reminded us just how global - and how connected - this community really is. From Skellefteå to the rest of the world, it was powerful to feel part of something so much bigger than our local space.

More than just games, the jam was about learning, experimentation, and building confidence. Newcomers and experienced developers alike pushed themselves, supported one another, and turned ideas into playable experiences in just 72 hours.

Huge thanks to everyone who joined, created, tested, encouraged, and made Pansalen buzz with creativity. Events like this show the strength of our local game community - and we can’t wait to do it again.
